It's all about value!

In farming, you need three things: efficiency, perseverance and a positive attitude. Those are the same qualities you need to succeed in home building.

Swing into Fall: Almost Time for HOPE’s Lancaster Golf Tournament

2014 Lancaster Golf TournamentGrab your clubs and swing into fall with me at HOPE International’s 14th Annual Lancaster Golf Tournament! Only a couple of weeks away, the September 19 event is sure to be full of hole in ones to “drive out poverty.”

One of my favorite events of the year, proceeds go toward HOPE International and addressing poverty through a variety of services and resources across 17 developing countries around the world. Through microfinance, the organization provides small loans to entrepreneurs in these countries in order to invest in their dreams and elevate them from poverty.

For those of you attending this sold-out tournament, here is an itinerary for the day:

11a.m. Registration, lunch and driving and putting practice

12 p.m. Shotgun start at Springwood Course (601 Chestnut Hill Road, York, PA 17402)

12:30 p.m. Shotgun start at Heritage Hills Course (2700 Mt. Rose Ave., York, PA 17402)

5:30 p.m. Awards dinner at the Terrace Ballroom at Heritage Hills Golf Resort

I’d like to thank the amazing team at HOPE and the event’s sponsors, Men of Iron and RMS: Residential Mortgage Services, for putting together this fun day of golf and helping a great cause. The event raised $215,000 last year alone, so I can’t wait to see how much it raises this year.
